Dr. Kris W. Owens, DDS, MS

Dr. Owens earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri in 1996. He graduated with a specialty in Periodontics and a Master of Science degree from Louisiana State University in 1999. He is board certified in periodontology and dental implant surgery. He opened his first practice in 2001 in the Austin area.

While on the faculty at LSU, he was involved in several research projects that examined implants and new dental techniques, and he still stays active in the academic world to keep up on all the latest treatment methods. He often lectures and has published articles on dental-related topics.

In his free time, Dr. Owens reads, travels and stays in shape. He also enjoys taking advantage of the many activities that the Austin and Central Texas has to offer.
