Certain dental offices offer significantly discounted prices for dental implant procedures, but those discounts may actually come at a high cost to you in terms of quality. The surgeons at Optima Implants only uses Nobel Biocare™ or Zimmer™ dental implant systems, which have been manufactured in the U.S. for more than 30 years. Unfortunately, other dental offices typically offset their significantly discounted prices by using low cost generic or foreign-made dental implants that do not have the substantial high-quality track record of Nobel Biocare™ and Zimmer™ dental implants.

Our expert team has been placing implants for more than 20 years. If your surgeon is not a board-certified surgeon or is using low-quality dental systems, you should ask yourself why.

Abutments and crowns are a separate fee charged by your restorative dentist.
  • High-Quality Implants Made in the USA with a 12-Year Limited Warranty: Other dental offices may offer significantly discounted prices for dental implant procedures by using low-cost, generic or foreign-made implants that do not have a substantial high-quality track record. We only use dental implant systems that have been manufactured in the U.S. for more than 30 years. Available now to our patients is the new and unique NobelPearl™ dental implant!
  • Teamwork: As you move through the implant decision-making process, you will benefit from the professional advice of a surgeon and your restorative dentist to make your experience safe, comfortable and convenient. Where Can I Find A Dental Implant Center Near Me?

FAQ: Questions and Answers About Dental Implants

Okay, So Will This Hurt?

Most dental implant procedures involve less discomfort than a tooth extraction. When we see patients for follow-up visits, most of them tell us how surprised they were with how little discomfort they had! Our office is equipped with a doctor and team trained to safely provide anesthesia. Oral sedation may also be chosen.

How Long Is the Procedure?

The procedure itself may be as short as 20 minutes for a single implant. Times will vary depending on the number of implants being placed.

Implant treatments range from the immediate replacement of an extracted tooth to over six months when bone grafting is needed. The average treatment is three to six months. Most of the time required to complete implant treatment is taken up just by waiting for the bone to fuse completely with the implant. This usually takes a few months and occurs below the gum line without any feeling or awareness on your part. In more complex cases, treatment may be longer.

When May I Return to Work?

Most patients may return to work the same day or next day, depending on the complexity of the procedure and type of anesthesia chosen.

Will I Be Without My Teeth?

During the initial healing period, dentures or partials may be worn over the implants while they mature. The temporary teeth will be made prior to the removal of the existing teeth in cases where tooth removal and implant replacement is required.

Are Dental Implants As Strong As Natural Teeth?

Yes. In many cases, implants are actually considered stronger than natural teeth and provide full functionality. After treatment, patients will be able to enjoy all of their favorite foods while benefiting from healthy, aesthetically-pleasing prosthetic replacement teeth.

Am I A Candidate for Dental Implants?

Anyone who is healthy enough to undergo a tooth extraction is likely a suitable candidate for dental implants. There are no age restrictions for dental implants. However, there are certain contraindications that may complicate or prohibit implant treatment. Our surgeons will determine whether or not this treatment is right for you after a complete physical exam and evaluation of your medical history.
